We have a strong affinity to aluminium, a high-tech material commonly used in the aerospace and automotive industries.
The company was founded in 1974 by Martin Schmid and Frank Ehmki, and has been growing continuously since then. Ehmki, Schmid & Co. currently disposes of more than 1200 m² of workshop and storage area at their recently (2006) opened new facilities at Fahrenzhausen (near Munich). In 2007, Daniel Ehmki took over management of the family business. His motto: “Securing the company’s future through customer satisfaction“.

We have found our niché in the market.
Proof of this is supplied by more than 4,000 workstations and about 11,000 customer-specific casings and 19’’ racks we have produced over the years. Monitor mountings and medical trolleys round out our product portfolio. Our standards regarding quality, design and functionality are high.
